Our FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What capture intervals do you use?

The capture intervals are strictly governed by the duration and detail of the project. We generally capture between 10-15 minute intervals for long-term projects, 5 minute intervals for short-term projects, and full-speed or 1 minute intervals for focused projects i.e. tower crane erection, concrete pours, structural steel erection.

There are other methods for time lapse capture which render unique results i.e. motion based, time-based for long term projects i.e. multi-photo capture at a certain time each day. We are flexible and understanding, so if there are any special requirements you may have, please do not hesitate to contact us for a consultation.

Where are you able to install a time lapse lapse unit?

Our time lapse units can be mounted onto external buildings, roof tops, poles trailers and other temporary structures.

Can I capture night works?

Usually content captured during the night is somewhat governed by the temporary lighting distributed on-site. Our automatic property adjusting configuration enables our time lapse units to capture 24/7, without under or over exposing images. In addition to this, we only capture images in RAW format, the benefit being that our cameras are capturing absolutely all the data it receives from the camera’s sensors. With this level of control in post-production, we are able to confidently capture images in extremely bright and low lighting conditions.
